Skylar feels lost in her loud but loving family. She's been going to community college and now has the chance to further her education. Then she runs into the cutest little girl, and her dad, the mayor of her small town. Taking the job as live-in nanny should be just the thing to get her out of her family's overwhelming clutches and into a new path. But what happens when she can't help but not only fall in love with her new charge, but her father, too?

Age gap stories can be a bit much for my tastes, but when they're done with subtlety and heart like Pining for You, then I'm all in. Rhett and Skylar are sweet together, with loads of chemistry, and with the cutest little girl to add to that heart. This is a sweet holiday read, just the thing to get you ready for the holidays fast approaching.
