A Happily Ever Alpha World

BLURB
The last thing Melissa needed in her life was another man telling her what to do.
However, Dane Clayton, her loan officer and resident pain in the ass, is standing in the way of her owning the coffee shop of her dreams.

Much to Melissa's dismay, sparks fly every time they see each other, leaving her wondering if being attracted to the one man that gets under her skin is more trouble than what it's worth.

The moment Dane laid eyes on Melissa Reid, he knew she was meant to be his.
Too bad for him, she hates his gut.
But his desire to claim her as his own becomes harder to resist every day.

When Melissa shows up in his office needing his help, Dane decides now is his chance to make her his own.

Using any means necessary.

What began as a game of cat and mouse quickly turns into more than either of them expected. But when someone objects to Dane's decisions, will their passion be extinguished before it even gets started?

Until Melissa is part of the Aurora Rose Reynolds's Happily Ever Alpha World. If you loved Until June, then you will want to read Until Melissa.

MY REVIEW
As soon as he lays eyes on Melissa, Dane is all in. She has serious issues, though, with trusting - others, and herself. So Dane has his work cut out for him getting her to accept how he feels about her, getting her to accept her own feelings. Will she ever let go of her fears, let herself trust, let herself love?

Like all the Happily Ever Alpha stories I've read, and the series they're based on, this is an insta-love romance, done well with some sweetness, some heat, and definite heart. Dane is quite the alpha, but with a soft heart, and one who's head over heels in love with someone that's making him work. What's not to love about an alpha falling hard and working himself into a frenzy over it?

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
