Review / Release Blitz: The Front Runner (Gold Rush Ranch #3) by Elsie Silver

Stefan Dalca is beautiful, brooding, and bossy.
And I just agreed to three fake dates with him.

The Front Runner, an all-new steamy small-town romance from Elsie Silver is available now!

Stefan Dalca is beautiful, brooding, and bossy. He’s also public enemy number one in this small town, with a murky past that’s hard to overlook. And I just agreed to three fake dates with him.

I may be a renowned veterinarian, but when I find myself in a sticky situation, Stefan is my last hope. I need his help to save a sick foal and what he wants in return is me.

Our time together starts out as a simple transaction, but the more time I spend with him, the more I wonder if he’s not quite the villain they’ve made him out to be. With every intimate conversation and lingering look, the tension between us builds. I’ve been drawn to Stefan since the first day I laid eyes on him. And now he’s downright irresistible.

I know sleeping with the enemy is playing with fire. But like a moth to a flame, I’m attracted to the mysterious man in a way I can’t explain—in a way those closest to me wouldn’t approve of or understand.

And the more he softens for me, the harder I fall.

But as his mysteries unravel, so do hidden truths. Truths that are bound to leave someone burned.

I just didn’t expect that someone to be me.

MY REVIEW

Stefan knows everyone in this horse community where he lives and works cannot stand him. He knows he comes across as arrogant, autocratic and obnoxious. And he doesn't care. Well, he does care when it comes to his beautiful Mira, the town vet, whom he keeps asking out and who keeps turning him down. What can he do to convince her to give him a chance to prove he's not the jerk everyone seems to think he is?

I cannot believe Elsie actually redeemed Stefan! And she did it by giving him a beautiful story. Stefan is so much more than I had ever imagined he was while reading A Photo Finish. He's got such a good heart beneath his golden boy outer layer, with a vulnerability and insecurities he really only allows few people to see. I'm so glad he found love with an equally beautiful character like Mira. She's of course got a huge heart considering she's a vet, and she doesn't let her bestie and others tell her not to be with Stefan. She sees the real man and couldn't be more in love with him. I liked A Photo Finish, but I absolutely love The Front Runner! It's sweet, a little heart-tugging, and so freaking hot. Stefan's got a dirty, dirty mouth...and I loved it.

About Elsie
Elsie Silver is a Canadian author of sassy, sexy, small town romance who loves a good book boyfriend and the strong heroines who bring them to their knees. She lives just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband, son, and three dogs and has been voraciously reading romance books since before she was probably supposed to.

She loves cooking and trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with her boys–especially outdoors. Elsie has also become a big fan of her quiet five am mornings, which is when most of her writing happens. It’s during this time that she can sip a cup of hot coffee and dream up a fictional world full of romantic stories to share with her readers.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
