MY REVIEW
Courtney's been tasked with giving her frenemy, Bax, a place to lie low after his engagement hits the skids. Neither of them expected where his temporary residence in her home would lead, though. After all, he's not only her brother's friend and bandmate, he and Courtney have a less than friendly relationship. How can they be expected to co-parent a baby when they can barely stand the sight of each other? Will Courtney ever find Brennan again in his current persona of Bax, bad boy rockstar?
Bax has to admit that he hadn't thought of Courtney much during his relationship with his ex. But now that he's in her space, he's finding he likes her, a lot. So much so that their new circumstances aren't even freaking him out the way they should. Is he truly over his ex, though? Is he so over her that he can find happiness with Courtney and their new family?
This is a slightly different take on the rockstar romance, and I like it. It's less about the lifestyle and more about the new relationship. It's got heart, a lot of chemistry, and a lot of lovable characters. I am really excited to read more of the author's rockstars now.
