MY REVIEW

Korean American Grace has come to Seoul to spend her summer interning for her uncle's record label. Unfortunately, the job she's tasked with is babysitting (gofering for) the biggest K-pop group of the moment, SWT. She doesn't fit in here in Korea, that's for sure. At first, the band spends its time making fun of her, gossiping about her, generally treating like dirt. But they've underestimated Grace - she doesn't quit or give up, she stands strong in the face of derision from the band, from the head assistant, and she starts making connections with the guys in the group, especially with one in particular - Lucas. She just may have picked the most difficult guy in the band to fall for though, because Lucas has practically indestructible walls, created by a horrible past. Will Lucas ever let her in?

I was very entertained by this charming story. I wouldn't really consider it a romance, the relationship between Grace and Lucas is sort of secondary to the relationship Grace forges with the entire band, rather it's a summer adventure. I have to admit I seriously disliked the band at first - they were horrible bullies for about half, 75 percent, but when they started showing their individual personalities, I really liked them, especially Sookie and Jay. I am really hoping this is a lead in to a new series where each guy gets his own story. If so, I will be reading them all!
