MY REVIEW
Michael's just been traded to a new team in a new city when he meets a gorgeous woman who's been stood up by her blind date. He can't help but want to get to know the sweetheart who has no idea who he is and with whom he had chemistry the minute they met. But leaving the ball in her court to call him after the hottest night of his life didn't work for him until months later he walks into his nieces' school to pick them up, and lo and behold guess who their teacher is?! It's the woman who's never left his mind since that night. The woman who never called. The woman who looks a little different now. The woman who seems angry at him for some reason. Will he be able to convince Jillian he is all in with her in this new phase of their lives? Or will she continue to be angry at him for something he had no control over?
I LOVE Michael and Jillian!! She's the kind of heroine I like reading most - sweet with a very strong backbone and a big heart, down to earth and kind, and the kind of woman we all would want to be friends with. And she was lucky to be paired with a man with an equally big heart, swoon worthy charm, and alpha all in one package. I loved how hard he worked to convince her he was with her, that she was the one, and that he wasn't going anywhere. Their chemistry was downright sizzling, treating me to some seriously sweat inducing sexy times, and an emotional connection that only deepened the more time they spent with each other. I was so excited being back in Natasha's hockey world, and am anxiously waiting for Wilson's story, One More Love now.
