MY REVIEW
Seeing a GQ cover worthy hottie at the bar where Victoria's out with her girls is a sight she's keeping in her mind until she walks into her teaching job and locks eyes with the same hottie telling everyone he's their new principal. He doesn't look nearly as thrilled at seeing her walk in late as he did last night at the bar. Will she and her new boss be able to work together professionally, or is their clear antagonism just masking something else, something much, much hotter?
Victoria and Auston both have things in their pasts that have given them insecurities, have given them reasons to distrust the idea of trusting another with their hearts. But Auston is determined to get Victoria to see herself the way he sees her - as the beautiful (inside and out) person she is. If she can let go of some of her insecurities and let herself be happy with him, he knows they can have a happy life together. He'll just have to work double time to convince her.
This is a sweet, emotional and heartfelt story. Victoria is the kind of woman we can all relate to - with body issues and insecurities all women have or have had at one time or another. She was strong, though, and have the best friends anyone could ask for. Auston was the kind of bbf we all dream about with his GQ looks but with a kind heart and his own insecurities, ones he didn't let guide his behavior though. I loved these two together and am now looking forward to much, much more from this author.
