Review / Release Blitz: Lust (A Sinful Empire Trilogy #2) by Eva Charles

Our fate was sealed with a blood oath.
Her angels play so nicely with my demons.

Lust, the moving and fast paced second book in The Sinful Empire Trilogy from Eva Charles is available now!

Our fate was sealed with a blood oath.
She’s much more than I expected.
Beautiful.
Fiery.
Seductive.
And hiding deadly secrets.

Her angels play so nicely with my demons.
I crave her touch.
Her whimpers.
Her obedience.
Her light.

Do I deserve her? No.
Will that stop me from taking what’s rightfully mine? Also no.

Some men never seek forgiveness, not even with their final breath.
My name is Antonio Huntsman, and I am one of those men.

Lust is the second book in A Sinful Empire Trilogy, which begins with Greed and concludes with Envy. It should be read after reading Greed. Lust is a dark romance with dark themes.
Forbidden fruit has never been sweeter…

MY REVIEW

In Lust, Daniela and Antonio are settling into their arranged marriage of convenience. Feelings may be developing, Antonio may be softening toward her. Then her secret comes out, and for awhile, he's reverting back to his distrustful, cold nature with her. What she's saying cannot possibly be true, right? She's lying to him, manipulating him, right? Or perhaps she's telling the truth. If she is, heads will roll!

Antonio is an anti-hero, to be sure. He's not a good man, and he knows it, makes no excuses for it. But with his Daniela, his dark soul might have founds its counterpart. Considering everything this amazing woman had gone through, there was every chance she would grow into someone like Antonio, but she was quite different, and it's this difference that makes them so good together, why they're so drawn to each other. Their chemistry is stronger and more heated than ever in Lust, and I was falling even more in love with them as a couple. I was wishing against hope that something good would happen at the end, even knowing there was bound to be a doozy of a cliffhanger, and there was. A horrible one in fact, and now I'm very, very impatiently for their conclusion when Envy releases. I have to know how Eva gets this couple out of the huge mess they find themselves in at the end of Lust.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
