MY REVIEW
Pietro's in need of a personal chef. He has a busy baseball career and he can't cook himself so a personal chef is necessary if he wants to eat more than instant noodles for every meal. But when the man who punched him in the face turns out to be the only applicant for the job, what will Pietro do? For that matter, what will Thierry do? Will he accept the job because he desperately needs (and wants) it? Or avoid Pietro because he still feels guilty for his behavior back then? Thierry and Pietro are two damaged men, can they heal together? If Thierry can heal after being paralyzed on the job, and if Pietro can get past Thierry's part in his breakup with his ex, they can have it all.
I love these two guys! Both not without their faults, not without some ugliness in their pasts, but the way both worked to move on, and fell in love with each other along the way - so good. I am going to go back and read Pietro's brother's story now because I fell so hard for Switch-Hitter.
