Love is for other people, not for me.

At least that’s what I believed, until I met him.

Julian Hill.

The most famous rock star on the planet. A music god with untidy hair and the voice of an angel.

I’ll never be anything but out, and he has very good reasons to stay in the closet.

After all, every move he makes is dissected, critiqued, and posted on social media, so he just wants a little privacy. I understand that. Truly.

But no one makes me feel the way he does, and I’m pretty sure he has feelings for me as well.

Which is inconvenient since his record label hired me to sue him.

I should’ve sorted things out before I kissed him.

Oops.

Ambiguous is a forbidden mm rock star romance about a fashion-forward singer who hates labels of all kinds (except for clothing), a dapper attorney who already has a (fake) boyfriend for a very good reason, and the possibility of love saving the day.

MY REVIEW

Sam's flustered by the gorgeous rock god he sees before him. Jules is Sam's best friend's idol, but Sam has never had him on his radar that way she has. Now that he's in front of Jules though, yeah, he gets the fascination. But he can't be more involved with him in any way but professionally, at least while they're in a professional relationship. But after? Yeah they can do all the things Sam's starting to want. Jules isn't out, though, and Sam's in a fake relationship for the sake of his family's political aspirations, so it won't be easy for the lawyer and the rockstar.

Julian doesn't like labels, thinks they're unnecessary and restricting; it's why he refuses to talk about his identity and questions about his sexuality. But when he meets a sweet lawyer whom he's supposed to work with while finishing his latest album, he's starting to understand why so many use them, even need them. Is Jules willing to label his and Sam's burgeoning relationship? Is he going to finally come out to the public with his preferences, his identity?

I really liked Sam and Julian together. On paper, they seem like an odd couple who wouldn't work, but they were actually perfect for each other once they were able to work their issues out. I admit that Ambiguous did not end up being quite what I had been expecting, but it turned out to be even better with two lovely heroes. I can just picture the Harry Styles-esque rocker and his adorable lawyer living happily ever after now.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
