Pretending to be married to my brother’s best friend and my biggest enemy is the last thing I imagined I’d be doing.

But there was a thin line between lust and hate, and when I fell into bed with the NHL’s rookie playboy, I found out just how easy that line got blurred.

We were enemies with benefits, but then two pink lines changed itall.

Now he was bringing me back home to his family’s farm and faking it became real… in moreways than one.

He was meant to be the enemy but falling for him meant letting him win.

The Scorecard
Graham: 1
Me: 0

**The Scorecard is book 1 of the duet and is approximately 60,000 words. This book does end on a cliffhanger."

MY REVIEW

How did Emery find herself fake dating the guy she always swore she'd never get near? Graham, the man who's her brother's friend and teammate, the man who once upon a time said something very hurtful about her, the man who's as big a player off the ice as he is on. No matter, this fierce lawyer will not allow herself to get caught up in Graham's orbit and find herself heartbroken. What about when he ends up being more than he appears? And now the two of them get caught up in a situation neither had ever expected? Suddenly fake is looking extremely real.

OK, I gotta say that Graham is so much better than his first impression - he is actually the biggest sweetheart of a guy who wants it all with his badass woman. Enemies with benefits, snark and witty dialogue, the sweetest hero ever, fierce heroine, and fake relationship - all things I love in a great romance. The cliffhanger wasn't fun, though, and now I'm waiting very impatiently for The Final Score. I can't wait to see how this adorable couple figures their way through the mess that cliffie brought.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
