When Chloe's caught in a rather uh, sketchy, situation, her boss's cold, unfeeling son uses it to his advantage and blackmails her into being his fake girlfriend so he can close out a deal he's working on. Neither ever expected fake dating to turn to something a lot more. Neither expected to find these feelings with each other that they've never experienced with anyone else. But when Barrett's deal is closed, does that mean the end of them too? Or can they make it work even though they started as enemies who were faking love?
Enemies to lovers - ✓. Fake dating - ✓. Funny, sassy heroine putting the cold billionaire in his place and bringing him to his knees - ✓ and ✓!! I loved this witty, snarky, HOT rom-com. Chloe is the perfect foil with her mouthy mouth and strong backbone. Barrett is at first a caricature of the ruthless billionaire who only cares about business, but soon softens once he's around Chloe and is falling so hard for her. I am definitely dying to read more by this author now.
