MY REVIEW
When something happens to Charlotte, a revelation also happens to Perry. Now he's a man possessed, scorching the earth to find her, find the woman he's finally realized he loves. But all the outside forces that have been against their union are still present, especially the biggest threat of all. Now it will be up to Perry to protect the woman he loves. Can he do that?
Charlotte has been through it. She's back now after her kidnapping, but she has something she has to tell her husband. She's not sure how he'll react, and she's not even sure she's up to dealing with what could be a dramatic reaction. She knows how she feels for the man she was forced to marry, but how does he feel about her? She knows he cares, she knows he's attracted to her, but does he love her the way she loves him? Perhaps while a huge threat is still around, she shouldn't even attempt to tell him or to figure out how he feels.
Charlotte and Perry's has been an epic journey. I loved being in their world, reading as they married, fell in lust, fought their feelings, dealt with everyone against them, and finally, fell in love. I'm not sure if there's more to come in the Morelli and the Constantine world but I hope so!
