BLURB

Cunning, Cocky, and most of all -- Cutthroat.
That's what they say about me in the courtroom, and the bedroom.
Everyone gets off when Schwartz is on the case.
I'm proud of my stellar track record with the ladies.
But when it comes to the criminals, I have a few regrets.
Like Jack Parrish, the former president of The Satan's Knights motorcycle club.
I kept the crazy bastard and one of his prospects from doing serious time and now I'm on the payroll for life.
He doesn't care that a laundry list of criminals keeps me on retainer.
And he cares even less that I have a personal life.
Wining and dining Vogue's hottest model is no excuse for not answering Parrish's call.
That's how I ended up in the Uber with my college nemesis, Vanessa Pierce.
Despite her lack of firsthand knowledge, she had the audacity to tell our pre-law class I couldn't get it up.
Lucky for me, my game has improved since we last saw each other.
And by the time I'm done with her she'll be eating those words.
That is, of course, if I can keep my ass out of the courtroom long enough to get her in the bedroom.

MY REVIEW

David knows he has to keep Jack Parrish happy. The man's got a laundry list of criminal behavior behind him (and in front of him), thanks to his MC, he's got power, and David's on retainer. So he's who David blames for being stuck with his college nemesis, Vanessa. But he's not the same man he was back in college. He's a successful lawyer, he's got the moves in the bedroom, and Vanessa will eat her words. Right?

So much going on in this story - fun, heat, suspense, and two awesome characters I was rooting for the whole way through. David is so cocky and when he gets ensnared in Vanessa's orbit again, the sparks flew! Though they were definitely nemeses at one point, their chemistry was obvious even through all their antagonism. I am loving this series, and am now on my way to download the next installment, Dirty Deeds.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
