Review Blitz: A Very Merry Margarita Mix-Up (Bristol Bay #5) by Brittanee Nicole

BLURB

They say don’t kiss your best friend. I accidentally kissed her twin sister.

Jules and Hailey Milsom couldn’t be more different. Except they’re identical twins.

One is my best friend. The other is the new girl in town, searching for a family she never knew existed.

It’s just my luck that when I finally make a move on my best friend, I share the best kiss of my life with a stranger.

Any sane person would realize this is hopeless. But when the red-haired beauty needs a reason to stay in Bristol, I double down and try to make every one of her Christmas dreams come true.

And I kiss her…again and again.

But the one thing she really wants, a relationship with her twin, may be the one Christmas wish I can’t deliver.

And this mix-up may be nothing more than a mistake.

Author's Note: A Very Merry Margarita Mix-Up is a steamy interconnected standalone that features a cinnamon roll firefighter, a sweet baker, small town shenanigans and all the Christmas joy your heart can handle.

MY REVIEW

Shawn finally gets up the nerve to kiss his friend Hailey and what happens but he kisses the wrong girl!! You see...Hailey has a twin named Jules. Yeah, you get the picture.

But their story is actually less fluff and more an emotional homecoming for Jules, connecting with the family she had always wanted, and finding the love of a lifetime at the same time. Jules made incredible character growth and Shawn, oh Shawn, that guy is one swoon worthy firefighter! I loved this story, loved the three central characters, and am now determined to read all the previous stories set in Bristol Bay, and any upcoming.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
