Claiming the Limelight by London Gates is now live!

Bad Boys Never Made You Feel So Good

HIM
I'm not a good man. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm ruthless, cunning, cold, and unattached. And I like it that way.
I know who I am and I like the way I live my life, but one little waitress comes
crashing into my life and has everything going sideways.
I have rules. No dating employees, not again.
Megan intrigues me in a way no one has before. She makes me come alive and not
just with lust.
But can I allow one waitress to flip my world upside down? Can I let her into the
darkness that is my life?

HER
I just needed out of Ohio. Needed to get away from my life there. Landing at Club
Limelight has me thinking that my luck might be changing.
It doesn't take me long to feel at home, making friends at my new job, until I run
stack dab into Hunter.
He might be used to intimidating other people but I'm done letting others walk all
over me. But the more I get to know him the more confused I get.
I like him. No, I more than like Hunter. And I know he likes me too. So then why
does he push me away only to pull me back in again?
Not to mention his job as "The Fixer."

MY REVIEW

Hunter's world is tilted on his axis when he runs into a sassy, feisty waitress. He has rules and they forbid him from dating his employees, but something about Megan is irresistible to this cold, ruthless Fixer. He'll have her even if he has to break his own rules.

The real standout in this story for me is Megan. She's sassy and feisty and the most interesting part of her own story. Hunter didn't do much for me, and the story lagged enough that I skimmed at times, but by the end I decided it was an OK read. Not outstanding but not terrible.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
