MY REVIEW

Theo, Carter and June have been rescued by Leo, Carter's brother, and are now caged up in the family home in the city, far away from their island bubble. It's for all their safety, as Underwood and co are still out there looking for them. Forced confines and proximity have our throuple going through even more growing pains. Carter has yet to admit just how he feels for both Theo and June, to his family and to June and Theo. Theo still thinks he (and Carter and June) are being corrupted by the city, and June is mostly just unsure of her place not only in their relationship but within Carter's family's world. Emotions are running high, people are running scared, and I was wondering how they were going to make it through.

This is a pretty great conclusion for this trio. There's a lot of relationship and character development by the two men, but I felt June's character was a bit overshadowed by all of Theo and Carter's angst about their feelings, their identities, and how they were going to fit into the relationship. Still, though she was overshadowed by her men, there was no doubt they both loved her and she loved them, and I like the way they ended their story. There's a bit of action, lots of heat and tension, and the Morellis do what Morellis do (yay!) and step up for their family, and the epilogue is sweet, if a bit understated.
