Review / Release Blitz: Fate In Fiction (The Siblings of Heir #3) by Jenna Lockwood

Release Date: June 29

She’s definitely not my type…so why hasn’t my body got the memo?

Emmett
As the baby of the family, I’ve always made a point of living up to expectations. But now, I’m ready to defy them.

The boats? The models? The viral selfies? I’m leaving them firmly in the past in favor of carrying on the Wheaton family legacy: luxury hotels.

Obviously, I don’t do things by halves — I’ve had more late nights than hot dinners lately. But that’s still not enough to convince my family to release my trust fund.

Until I meet Josie Callahan. She’s got “mature, stable, adult” written all over her.

And she may as well be holding the key to my future.

Josie
For me, freedom means a one-way ticket out of town. But the going wage of a mountaintop yoga instructor isn’t about to fill my savings account anytime soon.

My only hope is my trust fund — but I can’t get that until I’m on the arm of a man my father approves of.

So, when I discover local playboy CEO Emmett Wheaton needs to improve his image, I make him an offer our parents can’t refuse.

For a while, we’re both on the same page. But when our fake relationship accidentally takes a massive step, suddenly our bank accounts aren’t the only things on the line...

Fate In Fiction is book three in the Siblings of Heir series by Jenna Lockwood. Filled with spice, humor, and angst, this dual POV delivers a sizzling HEA.

MY REVIEW

Emmett needs a mature, (read, stable) woman to appease his family. Josie needs a husband her mayor dad approves of so he will give her access to her trust fund. So a fake relationship between the two is just the ticket to fix both their problems. But what happens if that fake takes a step toward not so fake? Is it possible the playboy has reformed and has fallen hard for someone finally?

Reformed players falling hard? Falling first? Just my kind of hero! Emmett is such a great guy who had been hiding it underneath his former playboy exterior. He just needed the right woman to come along and turn his world upside down. Josie is absolutely the perfect woman for the job with her soft heart and strong backbone. Fake relationships can go all sorts of wrong, and actually, theirs did for a time, thankfully Emmett learned and proved that he had really changed, was the great guy Josie had fallen for. I loved these two together and can't wait to read more of the Siblings of Heir now.

Meet Jenna Lockwood

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
