MY REVIEW

BJ (Randall Jr) almost running into Winter while she's on her bike left an impression on him. He knew just where to find his sassy, hockey loving girl even though she ran off and left only a skate as her calling card. Though she tries really, really hard not to be impressed by his flirty ways, Winter cannot resist for long. Though they haven't put a label on whatever it is they're doing, feeling, they will need to rely on each other in the coming days.

Winter has walls upon walls around herself, built by people constantly letting her down, teaching her not to trust. She thinks she's broken, but all she needs is one charming skater to come along and show her love, warmth, and give her a found family. Though they're loathe to put a name to their arrangement, she realizes just how she feels at a crucial time. Now she has to be the one showing him the warmth, the strength, and the love, if she wants to get him through it.

I've been loving this series about the second generation, children of the ogs of the Pucked series. Last time it was Maverick, this time it's BJ, Randy and Lily's (from Pucked Under) son, and yeah he's as awesome, if not more so, as his dad. He ends up being perfect for Winter with her prickly edge, wooing her with his charm, his whole crew of friends and family, and generally being the adorable, sexy guy with heart that he is. And now Winter - so much BJ's equal and opposite, she had my heart as much as BJ. She's strong, a survivor with a horrible family life, who didn't even know she was waiting for BJ to come give her his heart.
