Remington "Remi" is instantly smitten with the beautiful woman who doesn't seem to react to him the way women usually do. It only fuels his fascination for her. What he's feeling is something he wants to explore, as he's not experienced it before. If only she'd be open to exploring their connection too.
After realizing his feelings for his best friend weren't returned, Remi's spent his time since adapting to just being her best friend, and appreciating how right she and his brother are together. To get over his unrequited feelings, he's gained a rep that's instantly obvious to the only woman who's caught his interest since. Can he convince Kaia to give into their obvious connection?
I like it when a player falls first and doesn't know what hit him. That's what happened to Remi, and reading as he tried (and failed at first) to get Kaia's attention was extremely entertaining. In short time, though, she realized there was more to him than just some charming player, and her fall was as entertaining as his, even more so, as she was very hesitant to give in. I admit to not liking Remi's ott overreaction near the end, and I wanted a lot more groveling from him because of it. Aside from that though, I liked everything else about this entertaining, sexy story.
