Review / Release Blitz: A Little Naughty (Be Still #4) by Tia Louise

A Little Naughty by Tia Louise is now live!

I wasn’t planning to propose to Raif Jones, the bad boy from the wrong side of town.
The one with the tattooed muscles, naughty blue eyes, and dimpled, James-Dean grin.

It all started with a series of bad decisions.
First was flirting with a dangerous criminal to rescue a little girl I didn’t even know.
Second was throwing a massive, masked gala in my small-town hideout (complete with drag queens) and not expecting to draw attention…

Then Raif rode in on a motorcycle and melted my undies (and my heart), saying he wouldn’t let anybody hurt me.
Of course, I asked him to marry me.
Imagine my surprise when he said yes.

We’re a little naughty and a lot hot, and the perks of being married are very… perky.
They’re perky in the shower, on the kitchen table, against the front door…

But when Bad Decision #1 tracks me down (thanks to Bad Decision #2), my outlaw husband turns Alpha Protector and risks everything to keep us safe.
It’s just a marriage of convenience. It’s supposed to have an end date.
But walking away from Raif Jones could be the worst decision I’ve ever made.

(A LITTLE NAUGHTY is a small-town, marriage of convenience romance with single-mom vibes, a protective hero, no third-act breakup, and light suspense. No cheating. No cliffhanger.)

MY REVIEW

Jemima's back with her sister Cass in Eureka. It's the best place for her now that she's got Nikki to watch over. Hopefully the man they're hiding from will never think to look for them here, and they can stay in this small town where they've both found a sense of belonging. Jem might have found her very own bad boy, and Nikki has found other kids she's bonded with. When Jemima wants to adopt Nikki, a marriage of convenience will surely be the best way to guarantee the adoption goes through. Will Raif agree, even though they both know the marriage won't be real, and there's a certain expiration date?

Raif's spent his whole life trying not to live up to his family's reputation. He just wants to make a life the right way, remembering his mom, taking care of his dad, and trying not to get involved in whatever trouble his brother is involved in. Then a beautiful, flirty woman comes along, and she and her girl dance into his heart and won't leave. But his brother's trouble, Jemima's past, and an expiration date for their marriage of convenience could dash his dreams before they can really get started.

"You fill my broken pieces with golden sunsets and love."

My heart...damn, I think Raif and Jemima (and Nikki) are my new favorite in this series. They are just so freaking sweet together, so heartfelt. Raif is so much more than just a bad boy - he has a tender heart, loves deeply and gently, and was always trying to move beyond what so many judged him to be. I wanted to cry that he felt so out of place among Jemima's crew, because of the perception he and everyone else had of him and his family. Then came Jemma with her equally tender heart, she never judged him, she saw the real him, beyond the bad boy exterior, of course she fell so hard for him. I love this small town of Eureka that Tia has created, but since it looks as she's bringing the series to a close, at least she completed it with this sweet, swoony couple who have the biggest hearts of them all.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Title: The Challenge: A Single Dad Romance Author: Penelope Ward Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Tropes: Single Dad, Second Chance, Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers, Small Town, Found Family Release Date: August 30, 2026 BLURB From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward comes a new, STANDALONE contemporary romance… Nothing says welcome home like accidentally moving in with your first heartbreak…and his little girl. Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
