Review / Release Blitz: I Wish We Had Forever (Harbour Village #3) by Jessica Peterson

I Wish We Had Forever by Jessica Peterson is now live!

A scorching hot, brother’s-best-friend, bad-boy/good-girl, fake-marriage standalone romance in the small-town Harbour Village series …

I’ve been pining for Abel Miller since we were teenagers. He’s sexy as hell, and has always played a starring role in all my fantasies. Too bad he only sees me as his best friend’s little sister.

He’s also a broody playboy who takes home a new girl every night, while I’m looking to find forever with someone. Abel and I couldn’t be more different.

But when my dad gets sick and says he just wants to see me safe, settled, and happily in love, Abel shocks me by offering to pretend to be my husband.

Now I’m living with the man of my dreams in his luxe bachelor pad as his fake wife. Plot twist: it only has one bed. Which isn’t a problem, until he accidentally walks in on me naked and I wind up bent over the couch with him on his knees between my legs.

Turns out my feelings weren’t so one-sided after all. But Abel swears he’s too much of a bad boy for the type of relationship I’m looking for, and warns me not to fall in love with him.

Can I convince him he’s always been the one for me? Or am I just headed for heartbreak by wishing we had forever?

I WISH WE HAD FOREVER is book three in the standalone interconnected Harbour Village series.

MY REVIEW

Jen and Abel have mutually, although unknown to each other, pined for each other forever. She's his best friend's sister, though, and that automatically makes her off-limits. Tuck would murder him if Abel even laid so much as a finger on her. But when Jen and Tuck's dad, Abel's found father, lets it be known he's sick, Abel and Jen know they have to comfort him. How best to do that? A fake marriage of course...

Abel knows he's not good enough for Jen, knows Tuck is going to be livid when he finds out about their not so fake relationship, because he's never bothered to correct what people inaccurately think of him. But Joe means everything to him, so he's going to do whatever it takes to make him happy. Then somehow down the line, his always there feelings take over and now he's faced with having the unenviable task of letting Tuck know. And letting Jen know too, because it's not fake, never has been for him.

Jen and Abel are perfection together! Nothing is more satisfying than when you already know the fake won't stay fake, but the way they evolve is full of heat, full of longing like Abel and Jen. When they've pined for each other for years, even better. I wanted to hug poor Abel, that man had the most distorted view of himself, thank God for Joe and his gentle nudge and his steadfast support and love, otherwise they never would have figured out a way to be together.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
