Review / Release Blitz: Never Again Jack by Elizabeth Lynx

Never Again Jack by Elizabeth Lynx is now live!

One year ago, billionaire bachelor, Jack Sloan, left me at the altar and ghosted me. But now he’s back in my small-town acting as if he never met me.

Look, I get it. I’m just a nobody. A small-town girl who lives in the tiniest house in the state of Virginia with her sister and a stray dog that won’t stop stalking me.
I’d probably ghost me, too.
But, and that’s a BIG but. He promised to love me forever. Swore I was the only one for him. Then, on the day of our wedding, he never showed.
Now that I am finally over him, he strolls out of the coffee shop and looks at me as if I am nothing. My sister and my friends were there for me on my wedding day, helping me dry my tears. But today, I am relying on them to help me… get revenge.

MY REVIEW

A year ago, Jill was jilted at the altar and ghosted. So it's understandable that she's furious and wants vengeance when the man who jilted her, Jack, waltzes into her town and acts as if he doesn't even know her. What's even more frustrating and bizarre than him acting like this is that his brothers are with him and are all going along with what their father's will has dictated. There's a small (large) window for a second chance, but it will depend on Jill believing her only love's explanation.

I love second chance stories. But only if I feel the characters worked for, and deserve their second chance. Jack and Jill 😉 definitely worked hard, and so deserved their second chance. His backstory was crazy, sort of cliché, but added a cute twist to the plot. Their chemistry is hot, very natural, and I fell in love with how sweetly they came back together. I hope this is the start to a new series, because Jack's brothers are just as interesting as he is, and I would love to read how they follow, or don't, their father's will and in the process, fall in love.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
