Bailey:

He met me on my worst day. He’s the cop that saved my daughter and me.

My daughter somehow managed to pull this magnetic man into our lives. I vowed to stay away from men after the disaster that was my marriage, but every little thing he does wears me down. He’s there for us when things go wrong and then starts promising to always be there. Not just for me, but my daughter, too.

Caleb:

For years, I’ve said I would never be in a relationship. I have too much baggage. Then Bailey and her daughter entered my life and everything changed. They flip my world on its axis, and my protective instincts kick in. It doesn’t take long before I decide that I’m going to make them both mine.

Will Bailey and I be able to get over our hang-ups about relationships? Will her ex push us apart or only cause our relationship to grow?

MY REVIEW

On the lowest day of Bailey and her daughter Charlie's lives, Caleb was there for them. He was the cop who responded when her daughter called 911 when her ex was harassing her, and Bailey had an instant reaction to him. For once, she didn't feel fear when faced with a man, she felt the opposite, safe and protected. But it wasn't just Bailey, Charlie has bonded with Caleb too, and now they're all starting to form their own family. If Caleb can let go of his baggage, and Bailey can let go of her fears, the three of them will have something they never could have seen themselves having - love, happiness, forever.

Caleb never thought he'd feel for a woman the way he loves not just Bailey but Charlie too. His past has left scars on his psyche, and he thinks that baggage is too much for any woman to deal with. But somehow this strong, brave duo has snuck past all his defenses, and he's all in with them both. Now to wait patiently until Bailey is ready too...

I think I swooned so much that my husband might have side eyed me a bit while I was reading as Caleb, Bailey and Charlie fell in love and formed a family. Caleb may have saved them when he responded to Charlie's 911 call, but in reality, they all saved each other. Their story is heartfelt, sweet, and damn but the spice is freaking hot! Caleb is dominant and Bailey is more than happy to submit, in seriously delicious ways. I can't wait for Grayson's story next, I have a feeling he's going to fall just as hard as Caleb did, for someone he thinks can't stand him.

Living in the Vancouver area of British Columbia with her husband, Alex enjoys spending her free time reading, watching Hockey (go Canucks), watching Disney movies and crime TV shows, and spending time outdoors. Some of her favourite authors include: Elsie Silver, Meghan Quinn, Tessa Bailey, Devney Perry, Bailey Hannah, and Morgan Elizabeth.

Her favourite tropes are: Brother’s Best Friend, Single Dad, Marriage of Convenience, Small Town, and Sports Romances.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
