Adly's been so long looked down upon by her family and family's company, and she's had enough. So when she needs to get out, and to access her trust fund, the person to rescue her really shouldn't be her brother's best friend, the man she can't stand, Axel Morgan. Well, he does kinda sorta blackmail her into it, but still. She can't be married to this man, even fake married. He's too attractive, and too cocky, too everything for her well-being. She can't be around him without giving into the chemistry they've always held, and that's not good for her poor heart. Or maybe it is...


Ax's been friends with Adly's brother Hunter, and she was always just the sister who bugged them, and didn't get along with her brother. But she's an adult now, a beautiful, alluring adult. He's wanted her for longer than he's comfortable with, so when an opportunity to have her comes along, he's going to grab it. Even if he sorta has to blackmail her into it, at least he'll get part of her. But is he prepared for wanting her heart too?


Adly rocks! She is so the star of her own story here. I love how much she wants to empower all women, especially because she had been so oppressed by most of the men in her life. And when she finally stood up to her dad - I was her biggest cheerleader. But don't think I'm forgetting about Axel, because he's just as awesome as Adly. I'll admit I questioned him in the beginning, because he was such a jackass at first, but once he and Adly started their fake relationship, he fell so hard and started showing her the real him, even through all their roleplaying. I have questioned all the Sebastian men at one point or another, but I fell for them by the end of their stories. Here I already loved Adly, she's definitely the best Sebastian, except for Grandpa, but Ax is worthy of the name, even if he only married into it. I think I've found my favorite Sebastian couple now, but I can't say for sure because Hunter is up next and I can't wait to read about the woman who brings him to his knees.
