MY REVIEW

2 years ago, Jules met her now boss Leo in an adorably cute way, and it was definitely like at first sight. Too bad he wasn't really the man for her and now she hates him. But she does want something from him, so agreeing to a fake relationship where they each get something from it, is the best arrangement. Except we all know fake relationships rarely stay fake, and Jules and Leo's relationship with its forced proximity is making fake morph to very, very real. If their individual baggage doesn't get in the way, they could actually turn their fake engagement into a real marriage.

Leo doesn't want to like his assistant. But he does want to prove to his ex that he isn't bothered by being around her. So Jules gets his proposal...to be his fake fiancée and roommate. He'll give Jules the manager job she wants, and he'll get, what? Apparently a lot more than he had bargained for, because now he's realizing just how much he likes Jules, and doesn't want their arrangement to end. He'll need to tell her, though, and prove to her he's not going anywhere, isn't like the men in her life who never show up for her.

Leo and Jules are now one of my favorite Louise couples. Their meet cute is unique, and so definitely cute, and as soon as I read it, I knew they were destined for an epic love story. And it is epic, in a witty, sweet way, with two flawed but so lovable characters who have serious chemistry and a lot of heart. Though both of them had a lot of emotional scars, and it hindered their emotional growth and their relationship, in the end they managed to fight past their issues and finally allow themselves to be in love.
