MY REVIEW
When Cammie becomes temporary roommates with her longtime crush, Chase, the guy who doesn't know she exists, she decides to give into their unexplained chemistry and have some fun for once. She knows she is so far from his type. She that she doesn't even come close to fitting into his world of college parties and hockey, so she figures it'll be just this one time, then she'll go on her merry way, never to interact with him again. Little did she know, Chase wants a whole lot more than once, and he's determined to have it all with Cammie.
Chase has had one focus - being drafted into the NHL. College is fun, hockey is even more fun, and to get that dream means he's never really settled into a relationship. Then he becomes temp roommies with the most unlikely girl, and he falls so hard he can't even fathom what's happening to him. Hockey's important, but Cammie, her heart, her everything is fast becoming even more important.
Cammie and her LOTR fic writing, Chase and his hockey loving, should not make the most adorable couple, but somehow they make it work. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a college romance more. He's the biggest surprise, not at all the jerk I thought he'd be, and falls madly in love with the girl who already worshipped him from afar. Sometimes the nice ones really do come in first, and no one deserved it more than Cammie and her fellow LOTR fan, Chase.
