MY REVIEW
Parker's got scars both physical and emotional/mental. It's why he moved to the wilds of Alaska to get away from people. Then a fierce, badass US Marshal fights her way into his life, and nothing's the same again. Suddenly he's feeling. And he wants her to touch him, which is something he hasn't wanted since he was held captive by the Taliban. Now all he has to do is find the fugitive they're hunting, and above all, protect this amazing woman, not fall in love though...
Being in such close proximity to Parker is splitting Jenna's focus. She wants to keep this whatever it is, casual, but finding that hard to do the more she gets to know the beautiful man he keeps so hidden beneath his pain. If they can just catch her fugitive, then life will go on after.
I think Parker and Jenna are my favorite couple so far in this excellent series. They fell in love against their will, chasing after a horrible man, and it was the most entertaining story yet. Because their stories were similar enough, they could relate, they could help each other through the pain and the guilt they felt when their respective teams got taken out. Vander and crew made cameos, and I fell in love with them and this series even more.
