“I don’t trust my instincts around the man behind the wheel. He’s too good-looking. Too confident. Too everything I’ve always tried to avoid in a man."

"He’s perfection. Everything about him is, from his looks to his singing and the way he carries himself.”

The guy I just met at the mansion I inherited from a complete stranger?

He's drop-dead gorgeous. Sexy. And rude with a Capital R.
Turns out he's not the hot gardener as I wrongly assumed.
He's not only a famous rockstar who grew up in the house, he's also ready to fight for it. And being both hot-headed and Irish, he's going to fight hard and dirty.
I'm not moving out. Full Stop.
But neither is he.

So we agree on some simple rules.
We'll play roommates for a while.
What could possibly go wrong?

Living together with an Irish Hothead will surely cause a major storm. Let's hope bracing that storm won't turn into a hurricane.

MY REVIEW

Lori's inherited a house in Ireland. Sounds like a fantasy, but when she arrives, she finds someone there who thinks she manipulated her way into inheriting the house. Now she's living in the home, at odds with the gorgeous asshole who wants her gone. She shouldn't give into their attraction, but somehow she can't resist. But what will she do when she finds out he's the real con? That he's the one who manipulated her?

I cannot wait for book 2 now! Patrick and Lori's enemies to lovers tension was so thick, it built to levels that I knew weren't sustainable. Eventually they had to give in, and when they did - wow. They may have started off as pure antagonists, but by the end, I was cheering them on. I hope Capturing the Storm is coming soon, because I'm seriously impatient to find out how they're going to get out of the mess Bracing the Storm left them in.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...

There’s no one more off limits than my best friend’s daughter. Peggy Aurora Hammerstein. The Toronto Terror’s unofficial team princess. I would never do anything to mess with our team dynamics this late into the hockey season, but seeing her work in the front office changed something for me. I see her as she is now: a powerful woman with ambition for miles. When I hold he...
