MY REVIEW
Harper and her 2 best friends used to dream of this home that one of them has purchased, and now Harper has her dream job of renovating it. If she can manage to work with the designer, Reid, without either slapping him or kissing him, then she'll consider it a win. But the longer they work together the clearer it becomes that there's more to him than she first thought. His trauma and her awful family have given them baggage that could be insurmountable for their developing relationship.
Reid and Harper definitely give those enemies vibes - their banter and snark is pure antagonism, driven by their obvious chemistry. I loved how the layers of their backstories were peeled back as they began to fall for each other, but I really, really felt for Harper because she was in the dark about Reid's big secret, as well as dealing with her awful family at the same time. Thank God for her found family - her friends and surrogate moms, they had her back, as always in this series. I've been so entertained by this series, falling in love with each couple, and I'm sad there are no more friends whose stories need to be told.
