MY REVIEW


Mildred "Millie" is always annoyed by her best friend's Radley's boyfriend's teammate, Tanner. He's so flirty and cheerful, and she's well, not. Not impressed by a guy who flirts with her the way he (she assumes) flirts with everyone else, and is constantly riling her up. Then one day he gives her a ride home in the place of Radley, and somehow ends up allowing all that flirting to go to her head. Now she's trying to figure out how to tell him they're going to have a baby. She doesn't know how she let this happen, but it certainly doesn't mean anything other than that they'll be coparenting together. No getting together, no relationship, and certainly no love. Right?


Tanner's been in love with Millie since he first saw her, and though she's obviously not of the same mind as he, he hasn't given up on getting her to fall for him. He flirts with her, he worships her, and gets under her skin. Now that she's going to have their baby, he's seizing his chance to show her how he's her man, hers and their baby's. Every minute is another minute he gets to adore her and show her why she needs to admit she's in love with him too. They're going to be tied together forever, and they should be happily in love while living that forever.


I think I must have swooned a hundred times while reading as Tanner charmed Millie, and finally got her to admit that she had fallen in love with him. There is absolutely no way she wasn't going to fall for her sweet, golden retriever baby daddy when he gently took care of her and their soon to come baby, worshipped the ground she walked on, and was just there for her in every single way. Grumpy met sunshine and in true fashion, fell head over heels, and I was here for it, every single sweet and delicious word.
