MY REVIEW


Lexi's finally walked away from her horrible husband. She's not looking for a rebound, or anything approaching a relationship, but then Kirby happens. Finally, someone who brings her out of the darkness she was living under, someone who sees her, and shows her what an amazing person she really is. She's falling fast, and this time around, wants people to know, especially her family.


Kirby took one look at Lexi and fell, but she was married, so he kept it hidden. But now she's here, walked away from her disgusting abusive husband, and all Kirby wants to do is show her how amazing she is, bring back the light to her heart her husband had snuffed out. He'll go as slow or as fast as she wants, just as long as she ultimately realizes her true self.


This couple is my new favorite! Not only were they on a journey of healing and self-realization, but a lightening of spirits, a lot of fun (the dares!), and finally, so much love. Lexi's growth arc is amazing, in a natural, organic way, and she emerged as a strong heroine with a renewed sense of self. And then there's Kirby...wow, a sweet cat daddy who fell in love at first sight of Lexi. I adore these two, their journey, and the way they found love with each other.
