Review Blitz: No, Don't Ever Stop (The Billionaires of Boston #2) by Marni Mann

No, Don't Ever Stop by Marni Mann is now live!

A guarded billionaire single dad meets the one woman who could heal his heart in this emotional and blisteringly hot romance by USA Today bestselling author Marni Mann.

One look at former NFL player Gavin Worthington has Emily craving things she shouldn’t. Yet his scorching-hot body and dangerously perfect smile are everything she wants. At the same time, a single glance at the breathtakingly sexy Emily Wren and her unforgettable blue eyes has Gavin desiring things he hasn’t in years.

Their agreement is simple: one night of uninhibited pleasure. No strings, no complications.

But one taste isn’t enough, and he can’t get Emily out of his head.

Gavin never lets women get close—his seven-year-old son, Ben, is his entire world. But there’s something about the gorgeous nurse that breaks through every wall he’s built. She’s incredible with his boy, lights up his darkest places, and makes him hunger in ways he’d forgotten were possible. The more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to deny their growing feelings. Except the pull of Gavin’s past is stronger than they imagined.

For this grumpy single dad to move forward and hold on to the only woman who’s made him feel alive in years, he’ll have to convince Emily that their connection is more powerful than the emotional barriers between them. They’ll need to trust that sometimes the most unexpected love stories lead to the happiest endings. All they have to do is take the chance.

MY REVIEW

Since he lost his girlfriend during childbirth, Gavin's heart has been closed for business, only open for his son, brother and grandma. He's upfront with the women he has encounters with, that he never, ever gives more than pleasure, and not more than once. But then a beautiful nurse walks into his life and he can't get her out of his mind. He thinks about her constantly, and he's about to break his own rule about more, if he can convince Emily of it.

Emily wants what her best friend Maya has with Jordan (A Million Times, Yes), but hasn't exactly gone to great lengths to find it. She figures if it happens, it will happen with whomever she's meant to be with. So when her most adorable patient's father storms into her life, she has no way of knowing they'll become the most important people in her world. She knows Gavin's not looking for a relationship, or even just dating, after all, he told her so before they ever hooked up. So imagine her huge surprise when he starts pursuing her, with an intensity she can't help respond to. But what exactly are they doing? She can't bring herself to tell Maya, nor does she want Gavin to tell his brother Jordan, this way they can stay in their bubble. But maybe she and Gavin can have the same kind of love that Maya and Jordan have, if they both allow themselves to acknowledge it and share it with the ones they love.

Whew!! Emily and Gavin are pure fire together. From their first meeting, I could feel their connection, and it only deepened with each look, each touch. Emily made Gavin work for not just her phone number, she made him work overtime, for her heart, and by the end, he had truly worked himself into her heart. She got the love she wanted, she got the most beautiful little boy, and she got the man who loved her beyond reason, took care of her and spoiled her the way she deserved. Gavin in turn, got the love he wasn't looking for, and a woman who saw the real man inside, and the woman to be Ben's mom on earth. The Worthington brothers are even hotter when they fall in love, now I'm ready for the next Billionaire of Boston to be brought to his knees by love.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
