Just for clarification, I originally read Ashton Scott as a newsletter serial that Nina sent to her subscribers. I fell in love with his cocky asshole self then, and reading his entire story in one sitting has made me fall in love with him all over again.
Ashton is a bossy af, dominating businessman used to getting what he wants, how he wants, when he wants. Then he meets Lorelei and she brings him to his knees, as much as a dominating asshole like Ashton can be brought to his knees. Suddenly he's pining over a sassy, feisty woman who doesn't hesitate to put him in his place, one who doesn't kowtow to him or throw herself at him.
