Meg and her friends Mindy and Kayla are off on a getaway in the mountains for a weekend. Their studio has been vandalized and each has some personal issues they're dealing with. Meg's own issues are particularly distressing - her mother recently passed, and she has a troubled relationship with her father because of their own issues. When she meets the two hotties who are vacationing next door, her body so wants to tick off one of her bucket list items - to have a threesome. But, when she realizes the men are gay, she knows her fantasy will never come true, or will it? Trevor and Jack are immediately attracted to the beautiful but guarded Meg. Will they be able to convince her to spend some time in their bed with them or will Meg's views and issues regarding male homosexuality and bisexuality keep the three of them from being together?
I'm pleased to find that I enjoyed this installment of the Sandy Ridge series much more than I did the second installment, Without Hesitation. Meg, Trevor and Jack are all likable characters and their emotional and physical connection is believably strong, even within such a short time span. I liked uncovering Meg's issues and what drove her to be so guarded. I wish there had been more of a backstory about the two men, but I think they were basically in the story as a foil for Meg, which is OK, but I feel like had there backstory been more fleshed out, their triad would have been more balanced. Aside from that issue, though, I really liked Without Reservation. It's seriously sexy, it's well-paced, and all three characters have a great connection. Just the kind of ménage I like best.
