Review of Must Love Coffee (425 Madison Avenue Book 1) by Leigh Lennon

MUST LOVE COFFEE

When Gwen's confronted by an irate dad, the sassy single mom teacher gives it right back to him. After her acrimonious divorce from her asshole ex, she has decided to stand up for herself and not let anyone beat her down any longer. So when her young student's father unfairly tries to get her fired, she turns into the irate one, and puts Leo in his place. Who knew he'd actually take her words to heart and become the father his daughter deserved? And who knew he'd be so sorry and so determined to pursue Gwen that he'd bring her coffee every day?

I absolutely fell in love Leo and Gwen and their adorable kids! I love Gwen's list of requirements and how she slipped them to Leo, and Leo's cute way of fulfilling those requirements. Must Love Coffee was far sweeter than I had been expecting, and Leo turned out not to be the jackass he was at first. Their story, their journey from adversaries to lovers was one of my favorite stories of the year so far. If all the stories of 425 Madison Avenue are even half as entertaining and sweet and sexy as Must Love Coffee, then we're all in for one sweet ride as this series goes along!

  1. I absolutely loved this one. I cant wait to read more from this apartment building. Gwen (love the name ) is a new single mother. She is recently divorced from someone that controlled her life. She is trying to live her own life again with her daughter and make sure that she is happy. She has a meeting with one her of students parents. This meeting does not go well at all. He is not nice to her at all. But this meeting makes him realize that he is not the father that he should be. These two end up hitting it off because he has to make up for being mean to her. I absolutely love the whole 10 things list. It is her top 10 things that a boyfriend must like regarding her. I love how she shares those with him and how he takes each one so seriously. There is one scary moment in this storyline that you want to crawl into the book and help. Will this moment change everything between them? Great characters, great storyline, amazing chemistry between all the characters including the kids in this one. Highly recommend reading this one. Cant wait to read more from this series.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
