Review of Return of the Prince (The Prince Duet Book 1) by Nana Malone

RETURN OF THE PRINCE

Finally. FINALLY the story I've been waiting for in this awesome royal series - Ariel's. Ariel, the fierce and fiercely loyal guard who's now a Knight and owner of her own private security business. I've been waiting a long time for her story and I'm so glad Nana Malone gave her the very best story, the most entertaining, the most tension-filled, just the most.

When Ariel gets a call from her long-ago love, her teenage love, her only love, Prince Tristan, it seems to set off a chain of events she never saw coming. Tristan has been exiled from Winston Isles for a long time, and he desperately wants to come home. But if he wants to make it home and stay alive he'll have to contend with the royal guards, Knights, his cousin, King Sebastian, sends to watch over him. That one of those guards is Ariel, his first and only love, is something he wasn't prepared for, doesn't want to deal with. After all, he's an engaged man now, even if his engagement isn't really as it seems, and Ariel is the one who never responded to his hundreds of letters asking her to come to him after he left to go play professional football (soccer).

Tension aside, though, these two have to get through her assignment with their lives (and their hearts) intact, so he needs to keep his hands and lips off the only woman he's ever loved. No problem. Right? Right...

OMG!! I can't tell you how excited I was when I found out Ariel's story was finally getting told. She's been intriguing, and awesome from the very first page of this whole royal series, and her own story more than lived up to all that intrigue. She's smart, tough and supremely loyal to those she loves and those she serves, and I was on the edge of my seat as her and Tristan's story played out. Of course, it's not even close to being over, and the cliffhanger, as usual, about killed me, so I'm now awaiting To Love a Prince very, very impatiently! I know I always say how as each royal story gets told, that it's my favorite, but this time it's absolutely the truth, no one's story can even come close to being as amazing as Ariel's. She's the true star of this story and I'm just glad the first part of it finally got told.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
