ALESSIO (THE GUZZI LEGACY BOOK 2)

Alessio is hurt. And why shouldn't he be? Corrado's actions were unthinking and cruel. So now Les is back to figure out the WHY of what Corrado did. But to figure out the why, he'll have to be around Ginny. So he can study her and figure out, why her? What's so special about HER?

Will Alessio find what Corrado sees in Ginny? Will he come to love her, too? Will he ever allow Corrado to tell him he loves him?

And then there's poor Ginny. She was pulled into this, whatever this is, by Corrado and she has to stay with him for her own safety. And she's enjoyed her time with Corrado. But now Alessio's here, with them, observing her, watching her, making her want him. She feels the same guilt Corrado does. Like she's come between two men who obviously have feelings for each other. And now she wants them...BOTH. Can she have them? Will they let her? Or is she just, a distraction, a toy?

"We are all individual people, but there are parts of me that overlap with one, and then another part that overlaps with the other. And there are parts of them that only overlap with each other, too, but there is a piece of all of us that overlap together."

I have to get one thing out in the beginning - Alessio is not quite what I expected it to be. And that's both good, and bad. Good because it's less action, less violent than Bethany-Kris' other mafia tales. Not that I don't love her other mafia tales, because I do, but it's nice to have a little break from non-stop action and violence once in awhile, like Alessio gives us. But bad because the pace is a lot slower and meanders a bit too much, and I started to wonder if these three would EVER get their shit together and just be together. There was a lot of not much going on for a good third of the story and I started to think that perhaps the whole story would be like this slowly moving thing. Thankfully, the pace picked up and things started happening, the men started to realize their feelings, and started taking steps toward making this menage work. In the end, I came to a few conclusions - 1) Alessio is mine. I love that man! He's sweet underneath his tightly wound facade. He loves without reserve. And he's sooo sexy. 2) MMF should definitely be in more mafia writing. 3) Les, Ginny and Corrado are a great trio. I may not love Ginny and Corrado like I love Les, but they all love each other equally, so I'm happy that finally became a tried and true thing by the end. And 4) I cannot wait for more mafia love from Bethany-Kris!

"They were three imperfect people who had somehow found a way to fit together."

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...

There’s no one more off limits than my best friend’s daughter. Peggy Aurora Hammerstein. The Toronto Terror’s unofficial team princess.
