Review/Release Blitz: The Other Room by Katherine Hastings

Title: The Other Room
Series: A Door Peninsula Passions Novel
Author: Katherine Hastings
Genre: Rom/Com
Release Date: August 15, 2019
Will an unwanted roommate turn into an unexpected romance?

Even though Jo is furious with her ex-best friend Matt, she takes pity on him when he ends up homeless. The two frenemies and her nasty cat squeeze into the tiny beachfront cabin she scored on the Door County waterfront. But as mad as she is at him for his betrayal, staying that way proves more difficult than she thought when his charms start wearing down her armor.
It's more than the walls between their rooms that separate Jo from Matt. He's desperate to gain her forgiveness, and soon he's desperate for a lot more. The passion igniting between them threatens to burn their little cabin down.

As Matt tries to break down the walls between them, Jo struggles to deny her feelings for him... feelings that are anything but anger.

MY REVIEW

Thanks to a drinking game, Jo's saddled with the one person she can't forgive as her roommate. Will Matt use this time to woo her into forgiving him? Will he be able to claim her heart as he's wanted for so long?
Talk about lots of tension and passion swirling around! It takes Jo a hot minute to let go of her hate and mistrust of Matt. Not that Matt didn't deserve her anger, because he most certainly did. But I'm glad she forgave him because as a couple, they're adorable.

I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but after having read and really liked this one, I will be sure to 1-click all the others.

Katherine Hastings loves love. It’s why she writes romance novels. Getting lost writing a romantic adventure is one of her favorite pastimes. When she’s not on an adventure with her characters, she can be found at her home in Wisconsin snuggling her husband, two Boston Terriers, and the world’s naughtiest cat. Two things make Katherine want to leave her happy home these days... going for rides on her dressage pony or floating at the beach in her big inflatable raft. Writing her novels while floating in the lake is one of her ultimate pleasures... that and Fried Wisconsin Cheese Curds, of course.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
