MY REVIEW
Genevieve has come back home to Gooseberry Ridge. She's still feeling the effects of her breakup with her cheating ex, and it's put her off men and relationships. Then she meets Wyatt, the deputy sheriff, and he and his adorable dog Storm, are sneaking their way past her defenses. Is she about to get her heart broken again? Wyatt's the opposite of her ex, but if she's developed feelings so fast, she's unsure if she should tell him just how hard she's fallen.
What a sweet introduction to what I can already tell is going to be a great new series. Wyatt's grumpy doesn't really do a great job of hiding his ooey gooey inside, especially for Genevieve. She took a bit (not too long) to let him in, but her heart was really just waiting for her sheriff deputy and his sweet dog to come along and show her what a real love is. Sweet, low on the angst and high on the heart - Genevieve, Wyatt and Storm's story is sweet and charming and I can't wait for more of their small town and the people there who fall in love.
