MY REVIEW
Janey's heard the legends and she's about to find out if they're true or not when she meets Karzan. Karzan's home has been cursed and it's up to him and his mate to lift that curse.

I've been loving this series of dark retelling of famous fairy tales. This time around it's Tarzan and Jane. This is a whole different world than Tarzan's jungle, though. It's filled with shifters and curses and dark deeds and betrayal. While I can't say it is my favorite of the Sinister Fairy Tales series, it's still entertaining and sexy. Janey and Karzan have chemistry to spare, and their world is lots of fun to read.
"They abandoned us, cursed us. An endless war, a dying race...the prophecy states that once united, the chosen one, bearing the mark of the gods, will bring forth the one true king.” Balling my hand into a fist, I turn and face the great room. “I will be that King. No matter what it takes, no matter how many people must burn to make it so, we will rise again and this time, not even the Gods will be able to stop us.”

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You.
