Book three of Taking Chances, a standalone series.

What was supposed to be a fun birthday trip to Sin City,
Ended up being a whole lot more than I bargained for.

A night filled with drinks leads to an incredible, unforgettable one-night stand.

With. A. Hot. Racecar. Driver.

But the morning after, he disappears and I’m forced to leave with nothing but the memory of his kiss on my lips, an ache between my legs, and a friggin’ wedding ring on my finger.

For months I try to find him while hoping he contacts me,

But nothing but silence follows and I’m left alone and forgotten.

Until out of the blue he shows up at my door, insisting what happened in Vegas is worth pursuing.

We get lost in each other while his PR team handles everything else.

And just when I think things can’t get any better, we get news that rocks us to our core.

It promises us a future we never considered.

Falling madly in love with my husband has never felt so great.

That’s until tragedy hits and it destroys everything we’ve built.

It wrecks me and sends me fleeing.

But the man I married doesn’t give up so easily.

He proves that nothing will stand in the way of us and shows that I’m his forever.

MY REVIEW
What do you do when you wake up one morning and find you've drunkenly married your hot one night stand? Well, if you're Amelia and Duncan, you're separated for awhile but when you find each other again, you try to give your marriage a shot. Until something threatens to tear them apart, and they have to decide if the fragile relationship they've built is worth the pain.

I loved this story. It had a little of everything - witty humor, steam galore, and, unexpectedly, heart-shredding lows. But through it all, Declan and Amelia persevered and made it through to the other side and found the happiness they deserved. I'm not sure if there are more stories coming in this series, but I hope so because reading this one just made me long for more Taking Chances.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
