Review / Release Blitz: Playing Dirty (The Driven World) by Cheri Marie

Cheri Marie's Playing Dirty is a steamy, fun with a little angst, contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg's Driven Worlds project!
Sometimes you have to play dirty if you're playing for keeps.
Tristan
After the sudden loss of our father at war, and our mother to a broken heart, it's been hard but we've managed to carry on. Now, it's just me and my brothers. We've made a life for ourselves. My life is perfect. A great job, boss, nice home and a man who loves me. That is, until Sebastian Abbott arrives turning my world upside down.
Sebastian
Originally, from a small town on the east coast, I moved across the country for more opportunities. Life is great. I have wealth and an endless amount of women at my disposal. People think my life is perfect. I guess from the outside it is, but I still feel there's something missing. Until an emergency with my mother brings me back home to a town I'd like to forget. That's when I meet her. Possibly the something I had been missing. Tristan Summers - a sweet southern belle with a sassy mouth and a heart of gold.

A few chance encounters with Tristan, has me lusting after a woman I barely know. But I know what I want and I intend to get it.

I'm not playing to win, I'm playing for keeps.

MY REVIEW
It doesn't matter to Sebastian that the woman he feels an instant connection with, the woman he wants, has a boyfriend. What Sebastian wants, he gets. And what or who, he wants, is Tristan. Will he allow an inconsequential thing like a boyfriend to keep him from her? Well...that disregard just might have the potential to break the relationship they could have.

I have to admit right off the bat that I didn't like Sebastian. He was rude, disrespectful (his nickname for Tristan is stupid and beyond disrespectful, especially when she tells him to stop), and entitled. So why 4 stars? Well, I liked the story itself, and I loved Tristan. She's strong and funny, and I wish she had been paired with a hero worthy of her. But their chemistry is hot, the story is entertaining, and I feel as if it fit in the Driven World really well.

Meet Cheri
Cheri Marie is an author, blogger, reader, event organizer and most importantly a fur-mama. She currently resides in sunny Southwest Florida. A lover of animals, it's no surprise that Cheri has what some would call, a zoo of animals. When she isn't writing stories that transport you to another world, or wearing one of her many hats, she enjoys photography and music. Also on her down time, in true Florida girl fashion, she enjoys spending a day on the water, fishing with her brothers.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
