MY REVIEW
We finally get to the end of Sterling and Adair's journey. The conclusion of The Rivals was definitely a "bombshell", as in, a bombshell was dropped that completely changed the landscape of Adair and Sterling's entire relationship. The twists, the turns, the action, all combined to make this a much, much better installment than the previous one. Adair and Sterling come into their own, both individually, and as a couple. I finally fell in love with them, as they were stabilizing their own love for each other.

Sterling becomes a more fully rounded character here, much to my happiness. He opens up a lot more about his past, he allows himself a bit of vulnerability to the woman he loves, and proves to be a more than equal partner to Adair. Speaking of Adair, she too grew quite a bit here, became the amazing character I saw hints of in the first two installments. The bombshell of course was the catalyst for her change, and it was a beautiful thing to see, as she evolved, and finally allowed herself to fully love Sterling, and be loved in return. All in all, this is an A+ conclusion for these two, and I'm glad they finally got the happiness they'd been seeking.
Meet Geneva

Geneva is married to her high school sweetheart. He's always the first person to read her books. Sometimes, he reads as she writes them. Last year, they were surprised by finding out Geneva was pregnant with their third child. They welcomed a beautiful baby girl in 2020.

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
