MY REVIEW

Rylee wants out of her abusive relationship with her fiancé when she sees August again. He was the bad boy when they were in school, and it seems he hasn't changed in that respect. But even though he's an ex-con, Rylee sees something in him that draws her and makes her want to be his friend, to be around him. But August knows there's no room in either of their lives for an ex-con to be with a rich princess'. Rylee's persistence, her sweet nature can't help but attract him, though. But is he meant to be more than just a moment in her life? Or will his past come a calling and suck him right back in to where Rylee cannot reach him any longer?

I was so caught up in these two and their developing story. Their opposites attract, witty dialogue and the snark, the freaking snark was awesome. And the chemistry was positively electric, 3 alarm fire kind of electric. I wanted it to continue forever and then that awful cliffhanger happened. I was really pissed even though I knew a cliffie was coming, considering this is just book 1. I am counting down the days until My Wicked Heart now!
