Review / Release Blitz: Stay for Me (The Arrowood Brothers #4) by Corinne Michaels

She's the girl who might be worth staying for.

Stay For Me by Corinne Michaels is now live!

From New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels comes the final poignant love story in the Arrowood Brothers Series.

Hollywood taught me everything I know about relationships--except how to be in one. As an actor, I became an expert at faking it. Faking that I wasn't affected by my childhood. Faking that I was okay. Faking that I knew how to save the day, the girl, the whole damn world.

But I've always known the truth--I'm no one's hero.

Until I'm forced to move back to Sugarloaf for six months, and Brenna Allen offers me a chance to prove otherwise. She's everything I never knew I wanted, but can't have. Her broken heart, perfect face, and adorable children turn my world upside down. Instead of preparing for my next leading role, I'm directing a middle school play.

All to make her smile.

The more time I spend here, the more I want to stay. Build a life in this town that I swore I'd leave--for her.

But when the world comes crashing down around us, I'm forced to decide if staying for her is the right choice or if leaving is better for the woman I love.

MY REVIEW
Jacob's back, but perhaps not so thrilled about it, especially because he has to live in what he calls a shack. He's only back for awhile, though, so maybe he can handle it. Then he meets a gorgeous woman who lives in his sister-in-law's former house. Her son is clearly a fan of his, and Jacob wants to spend time with him because it's clear the boy just needs some guy time. If it means he can get a little close time with the boy's beautiful mom, well, that wouldn't be so bad either...
But, as I said, Jacob's only in town for a short while before he has to head back to his Hollywood life, and Brenna is not about to open her heart up for more pain like the pain she felt after her husband died on the job. But something about seeing Jacob bond with her son does something to her heart, makes her feel things she's never quite felt before. Can she let herself enjoy what she could have with Jacob, even if it has an expiration date on it?
Damn, this conclusion to the Arrowood Brothers is aimed straight at the heart. It broke my heart, I will fully admit, but by the end, I had a huge smile on my face as Jacob and Brenna found with each other all the happiness and joy that these two lovable sweethearts deserved. The brothers have come full circle here, and I'm just glad I got to read (cry) and fall in love with the last brother and the beautiful family he finds in Brenna, Sebastian and Melanie.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
