Tish is sorta kinda settling into life in the small town of Crescent Cove. She's bought a fixer upper home, she owns a business, and she socializes (somewhat) with some of the town residents. When her brother asks (informs) her that he and their brothers and their dad will be descending upon her for Christmas, she knows it's time to call in the favor Lucky owes her. He's the big, muscular contractor who owes her the favor. He's the hot guy she can't help but drool over (without admitting it). So now she and the affable lug will be fixing up her barn before her clan come takeover her life. Will the attraction between the two of them spark to flame? And when it does, will Crescent Cove work its magic on them and gift them with another soon to come baby? If (when) it does, how will the woman who doesn't let others near her heart and the seemingly forever playboy deal with their impending parenthood? Are they even a couple? Will they (she) ever admit to feelings of more than the physical?
Lucky is beyond excited that Tish has finally called in the favor he owes her. She's been on his mind non-stop ever since he corralled her into helping him get his best friend's proposal perfectly setup. He hasn't been able to be with anyone else since that day, and the only one he wants has been avoiding him. But now that she needs his help, he will be there, convincing her, seducing her, into being with him. If he could just get past her many defenses, he knows he can show her just how good they can be together. Even when Crescent Cove throws them a curveball, he's determined to be her one and only and to show her that he's going to be with her forever.
Ah I so love Crescent Cove, where the babies are everywhere, the women are smart, strong and sassy, and the men are taken to their knees by love. Lucky and Tish are the latest to succumb to Crescent Cove's magic, and I couldn't have fallen more in love with them. She's got walls a mile high, but inside she was just crying out for someone to be strong and show her she deserved love, deserved everything. Lucky was the perfect man to do that, the perfect man for her, with his sweet personality and steady strength and loyalty. Not to mention their chemistry was smokin! If I ever had to move back to a small town, I can only wish it would be friendly and loving, more like Crescent Cove and less like the judgy, ignorant one I grew up in.
