Being dragged to a dive bar by his friend was the last thing Ryan expected tonight. But when a gorgeous but definitely off-putting and stoic man rescues him from a drunk sleaze hitting on him, his night starts looking up. But apparently his rescuer isn't about to let "GQ" anywhere near him after having rescued him. How can Ryan find this grumpy but gorgeous firefighter again? Well, fate has its way and now the two are going to be all up in each other's orbits. Will close proximity lead to something beautiful for this pair of opposites? Or will the huge differences between the two men's worlds be the obstacle that drives them apart?
I LOOOOOVE this grumpy sunshine couple. Ryan the sweet but definitely not meek or timid caretaker from a privileged background together with a growly, broody firefighter who thinks he doesn't belong anywhere near the gorgeous suited up GQ, though so different make the very best kind of couple, the kind I love most. There's a sort of, not cliffie, but not happy ever after, so beware, but the end isn't doom and gloom either, it's a tentative looking up kind of ending that has me very impatiently awaiting for what happens next with Ryan and Jameson when Wicked Flame releases.
