Review / Release Blitz: Savor (Twisted Vines #3) by Isabel Jolie

Savor by Isabel Jolie is now live!

Who knew starting over could be so dangerous?

Stella

You know what's worse than turning forty? Knowing the last time you had sex was with your ex. Ten years ago.

So when my best friend takes me out to celebrate my new job, I let the sexy twenty-something flirt with me. And take me home.

Because I deserved that one-night stand. I regret nothing.

Except, as it turns out, he's one of the partners at the security firm I now work for.

Fan-f*cking-tastic.

Trevor
I do not need any distractions right now.

And Stella? She has distraction written all over her.

She's an employee. She's also a single mom who needs romantic drama even less than I do. I should stay away.

But I don't.

Because every forbidden, stolen moment makes me want more.

I want forever.

Now all I have to do is convince her I'm worth the risk. Oh, and I also need to catch the deadly cyber-terrorist who targeted her to get to me.

But, hey, no pressure, right?

Savor is a standalone romantic suspense novel with a hot, protective former SEAL, a heroine who is about to realize that 40 is the prime (and time) of her life, and a guaranteed happily ever after. Download today and get ready to Savor your next favorite book boyfriend.

MY REVIEW

Stella's a divorced single mom when she finds out the gorgeous, younger guy, she had the best night of her life with, is her new boss. Yikes. He's also a former SEAL, works for a covert security firm, and seems not about to let her insecurities, her fears, or her in general, get in the way of them being together. Will Stella let go enough to let Trevor into her heart?

Trevor's a rock. A freaking swoony, hot af, rock. He's there for Stella, persistent without being creepy, and alpha without being overly controlling or an asshole. He's quite simply, the perfect guy. And I was glad Stella finally took her head out of her ass and realized that, and that they were able to be together. Of course, the road was bumpy, there was the over arching storyline of the cyber villains coming for the team, her ex was being a total tool for most of the story, and Stella's own insecurities got in the way. But by the end they had their happy ever after thankfully. Now I'm anxiously awaiting more Twisted Vines love.

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
