MY REVIEW
Marnie is in the last place she ever expected - back in her high school sweetheart, Jupiter's, orbit. She had planned on avoiding him as long as possible, but long isn't in the cards because now she's facing her past down and not liking that he still affects her. What she doesn't know at first, but soon finds out, is that Jupiter has completely engineered her appearance in this new life. And what he wants of her? It remains to be seen if Jupiter will get his way, if Marnie can open herself back up to the possibility of the same heartbreak he handed her back in high school.
Jupiter has regretted leaving the love of his life every minute since he left her crying on the porch. Now though he's finally in a place where he can get her back and he means to claim her. If only he could get past her sky high defenses and to the heart he knows is still his.
Marnie and Jupiter's second chance is quite a bumpy road. I love that she made him work his ass off to get back in her good graces. Honestly if I were her, I probably would have made him work even longer *lol*, but there was no way she wasn't falling back (still) in love with him because he is so sweet and swoon worthy, even if only with her. Their chemistry is fire and if ever a couple deserved a second chance, it's Marnie and Jupe.
